Safety Advice

In order to protect yourself, please always act with care, caution and safety in mind. We always do our best to remind our users to stay safe while using Tootifruity.

Do not under any circumstances give anyone your personal details. Your personal details include your real name, home address, the name of your school, your telephone numbers, email address and any places you hang out at locally. Keep your personal information PRIVATE.

If someone says or does something that makes you feel uncomfortable, or if they ask for your personal information, tell your parents right away.

If you ever run into any trouble on Tootifruity, you can always tell us by clicking the ‘Contact Us’ link located on the site.

If someone is abusing, hassling or offending you then PLEASE REPORT them to Tootifruity or your parent, guardian or the local police.

Never give out your password to anybody, even if they say they work for Tootifruity – they don’t! We will never ask you for your password except on the login page, and there is no reason anyone else would want it other than to steal your information. So keep your password secret.

Never plan a meeting. No matter how much you think you have in common with the person you are talking to, remember that it is very easy to be a completely different person online than in real life.

If at some point you decide you want to brake this rule and meet up with someone you have met on Tootifruity then you must tell your parents, friends and any adult that you trust what you are doing. Never meet up with someone from the internet on your own.

Always take a friend or adult with you. Always meet somewhere in a public area during the day time. Always tell your parents and friends what you are doing, who you are meeting and where you are going. Always remember to video chat first with the person so that you can see if they are really under 18 years of age and so that you can take a snapshot of them for your records.

Remember to use video chat to check out who you are talking to. If you can see the persons profile picture is not a true reflection of the person then REPORT them to TOOTIFRUITY, click the ABUSE button and BLOCK them. Contact your parents, guardian or the police and report them.

Please remember to leave your feedback after each video chat so that other users can be informed of anyone who is rude, abusive or using a false profile picture. If the person you are talking to asks you to keep their online friendship or meeting as secret, then you tell your friends and family of this conversation. ANYONE who wants to keep a conversation, friendship or meeting secret is a WARNING and DANGER sign.

Block them from contacting you.

Snapshot

It is important to be able to take a snapshot of the other user on video chat for safety reasons. Anyone who is unable or unwilling to show their face to you should be taken as a warning. They may not be who they claim to be and/or may be much older than they claim on their profile. Do not take any chances. If the other person wishes to hide their identity from you on video chat then report the user to Tootifruity and give them a poor feedback score to warn other Tootifruity users.
