Profile

First impressions count, and most people’s first impressions of you on “Tootifruity” will come from your profile. Make them count!

  1. How do I get Verified status?
    Getting Verified status helps to prove to other users that you’re a real person, making it easier to make friends. To get Verified, all you need to do is go to the Verifications area on your profile page, and choose from two of the four options. These include adding your mobile number, linking to your Facebook or Google+ account, or activating “Tootifruity” Invisibles.
  2. What’s a profile?
    Your “Tootifruity” profile is where you get to show off to other “Tootifruity” users. It’s the home of your photos, videos and bio, and also where you get to say what you like and who you’re looking for. You can also use your profile to display your Facebook friends and show what a social animal you are.
  3. How do I edit my page?
    Go to your profile and click “Edit” next to whichever section of your profile you want to change. Once you’ve made your changes click “Save”.
  4. How can I see who visited my profile?
    “Tootifruity” has a profile visitors page that lets you see who visited you and when, and links straight to their profile.
  5. What are interests and how can I add them to my profile?
    Your interests are all the little things you like – favorite bands, movies, holiday destinations, sports and many other things. You can also check out other people’s interests on their profiles, and see if they’re into the same things as you. To add interests, just visit your profile and either select interests from the available categories or add your own (these will need to be approved before they appear on your profile, so please don’t write anything offensive).
  6. How can I change my location?
    In your profile, just click ‘Edit’ next to your current location and either enter a new one or select one from the dropdown menu.
  7. How can I change my profile address?
    At the bottom of your profile page, on the right, you’ll find a link below the title ‘Your profile address’. Just click it and follow the instructions to personalize your profile name. You can copy and paste your profile address into emails, forums and other webpages, to stand out and help people remember you. Please note that you can change your address only once.
  8. What is my ‘Added you as Favorite’ folder and how can I open it?
    ‘Added you as Favorite’ is one of our Invisibles, premium features that help you meet people faster and get more attention. Invisibles also include Profile Customization, Invisible Mode, Message Status and other great features. You can access your ‘Added you as Favorite’ folder by activating Invisibles.
  9. What is my ‘Want to meet you’ folder and how can I open it?
    “Want to meet you’ is one of our Invisibles, premium features that help you meet people faster and get more attention. Invisibles also include Profile Customization, Invisible Mode, Message Status and other great features. You can access your “Want to meet you” folder by activating Invisibles. Similarly You can access “You Want to meet”, “Mutual Attractions” and other invisibles.
  10. Can I remove people listed in the “Your visitors” folder?
    Visitors will be automatically removed from this folder after a month, but if you’d like to delete someone sooner, click the dropdown menu next to ‘Chat’ on the right hand side, then select ‘Delete’.
  11. How do I change my name on “Tootifruity”?
    Go to your profile page and click the “Edit” link for the “Basic” section. Enter a new name and then click the “Save changes” button.

Fliks

“Fliks” is what “Tootifruity” is all about – meeting new people, having fun and expecting the unexpected. It’s exciting and full of possibilities. Give it a go!

  1. What is “Fliks”?
    “Fliks” is at the core of the “Tootifruity” experience. We show you photos of users who match your interests, and you decide if you want to meet them. Just set your search criteria, flick through your choices and see who you like.
  2. How can I find out who wants to meet me?
    ‘Want to meet you’ shows you all the people who voted ‘Yes’ and ‘Maybe’ when they saw you in “Fliks”. You can access your ‘Want to meet you’ folder by activating “Invisibles”, which help you meet people quickly and get more attention. “Invisibles” also include profile customisation, Invisible mode, Special Delivery and more.

People Nearby and Search

The People Nearby section of “Tootifruity” shows you users in your area and other cities, while search lets you find people according to your own interests.

  1. What is Basic search?
    Basic search allows you to find people based on their gender, age, location and what they want to do. You can also show whether you’re on “Tootifruity” to make new friends, chat or date. These settings can be changed as often as you like. You can search for “Tootifruity” users in other cities by choosing ‘Select another city’.
  2. What is Advanced search?
    Advanced search lets you refine your search using specific criteria such as relationship status, sexuality, body type and many more.

Invisibles

“Tootifruity” -“Invisibles” help you to get noticed and meet new people quickly. These premium features boost your options when chatting, finding new people, sharing photos and videos and having fun.

  1. What “Invisibles” are there?
    “Tootifruity” “Invisibles” include a range of premium features that basic users don’t have, to give you an edge:
    • Who wants to meet you – see who voted ‘Yes’ to you. 
    • You want to meet me – see who voted ‘Yes’ to you.
    • Mutual Attraction- If you requested a user “You want to meet “ and User agrees (means Voted “Yes”) then the user profile goes to mutual attractions. This invisible will keep a track of people whom you like and they also like you.
    • Invisible Mode – browse “Tootifruity” without anyone seeing you 
    • Added you as Favourite – see who likes you most 
    • Message Chat – get direct access to the most popular people on “Tootifruity” 
    • Video Call – Have fun with our most exciting Video Call Feature
  2. How does a “Invisibles”subscription work?
    For new users , Invisibles are already activated.
     

Settings

One of the most important factors in enjoying your time here on “Tootifruity”, is having your account set up just how you like it. So you might want to tweak it a bit, and that’s what we’ll explain in this section.

  1. How do I sign in to “Tootifruity”?
    Choose Sign in at the top of the homepage. Enter your email address and password and click Sign me in!
  2. How do I sign in using Facebook?
    On the Sign in page, choose Sign in with Facebook on the right side and enter your Facebook login details.
  3. How do I sign in using Google, Yahoo or MSN?
    On the Sign in page, click the Google, Yahoo or MSN link on the right side and enter your login details. This section can also include other online services specific to your country.
  4. I’ve forgotten my password. What do I do?
    Click the Forgot your password? link on the Sign in page, and follow the instructions on screen to reset your password.
  5. What are my profile settings?
    Profile settings let you adjust your language, privacy and photo and video settings. You can choose who can view your profile or contact you, comment on your photos or videos and more.
  6. What are notification settings?
    In your notification settings, you can choose which email and mobile notifications you’d like to receive from “Tootifruity”. There are also instructions for managing your“Tootifruity” Desktop settings.
  7. I didn’t get a confirmation email after I registered. What do I do?
    Check “Tootifruity”’s email confirmation page to check you entered the right email address or correct it if it’s wrong. If that doesn’t work, check your email account’s spam folder in case our confirmation email ended up there by mistake. If you find the email in your spam folder, remember to mark it as ‘Not spam’.
    You can also sign in to “Tootifruity” using Facebook Connect, Google, Yahoo or MSN.
  8. What is Invisible mode?
    Invisible mode is a premium feature that lets you browse “Tootifruity” without anyone knowing who you are. You can enable Invisible mode by activating “Invisibles”.
  9. How do I change my password?
    Go to Change password in Settings. Enter your current and new passwords and then retype your new password, then select Change password to confirm.
  10. How do I change my email address?
    Go to Change email address in Settings. Enter your new email address and current password, then select Send confirmation email. You must confirm your new email address by clicking the link in the email we send to that address.
  11. How can I save my email and password so I don’t have to enter them each time?
    Make sure the Remember me box is checked when you sign in to “Tootifruity”. If your browser displays a message offering to remember your password, choose this option.
  12. I deleted my profile but I want it back! How can I reactivate it?
    We’re happy to have you back! To reactivate your profile, find the confirmation email that we sent you when you deleted your profile and click the link it contains. This link is valid for 30 days from the day you delete your profile. If it’s been more than 30 days since you received the confirmation email, simply create a new profile on our Sign up page.
  13. How can I change my browser’s location settings?

    Changing your browser’s location settings will allow us to see your approximate location, so that we can help you find people in your area. Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone exactly where you are, only how close, and we won’t share this information with anyone else.

    How you change your settings depends on your browser:

    Internet Explorer
    1. Open the Tools menu
    2. Click Internet options
    3. Click Privacy
    4. Uncheck ‘Never allow websites to track your physical location’.

    Google Chrome
    1. Go to Settings
    2. Click Show advanced settings
    3. Under Privacy, click Content settings
    4. In Location choose ‘Ask me when a site tries to track my physical location’

    Firefox
    1. In the address bar, type about:config
    2. On the next page, type geo.enabled in the search box
    3. Double click on the ‘geo.enabled’ preference
    4. It should now say ‘enabled’

    Safari
    1. Go to the Safari menu
    2. Click Preferences
    3. Click Privacy
    4. Choose ‘Prompt for each website one time only’

  14. How do I delete my profile?
    If you really want to delete your “Tootifruity” profile, sign in and visit Settings. Select Delete profile on the left side of the page and follow the instructions.
